Feeling so great when at home again. Seeing world's best mom and dad smiling at me, my little brothers and my cute little sister (mind you my 19 years old sister currently counting days to go back home after a year spending her time at JUST) telling me so many stories when I am not at home even I'm calling them once in a week but they still have stories to told about. They told me about their school days, their friends, their experience when they went to Cameron Highland's family trip recently, bla..bla..bla..
And I keep listening to them even I am so sleepy after 9 hours journey in the bus from JB to Kuala Terengganu. *sigh*. But still they are everything to me.
While I am Google-ing this morning, I'm thinking what did the government have done to keep us safe from the swine flu? Did they made enough effort to prevent us? Till I am typing this, 59 have died from that silence killer. 59 guys! That's bad in terms of human resources. I don't think our government are taking enough efforts to prevent the flu spread as so many tourist activities, public gathering and so on are still marching.
For me, this is the part where we have to get serious with H1N1. The government has no choice except stand up and implement some practical prevention to control the deadly disease. Close the schools, colleges, universities, cinemas, restrict travel and so on.. If not, the people will lose confidence towards the government. Better be serious. In Mumbai, the authorities have chose to close all of the schools for a week because of fear of H1N1. In the same time, closing the schools is not the answer because the parents will have problem who are going to babysit their chidren while they are away as there are not much childcare provision available for all children in the very same time. But, at least the virus can be slow for a while as it is easier to attack the small children. The research by World Health Organization (WHO) also shows that the virus prefers cooler winter temperatures, the reasons still unknown. By the way, I do hope the government can take really serious actions to prevent more people died because of this deadly virus. We have to bear in mind that the people who are died also an assets to our country. So, let's hope no more people will pass away because of this. After all, we have to take care of ourself as nobody will care if we are sick or whatsoever.
Oh, one more thing I also hope that the vaccine as announced by WHO could be used to the general population by this month after it has been licensed.
Till then, wish all of you always in the pink of health. See you again!
