I have long-standing love with Charles Puyol, Barca's captain for decade. I love him because of so many factors. One of them is his commanding performance on and off the field. But, this is so common because he is a captain and need to have great influence to be a general. But there is many commanding centre backs who are still playing until today.
I admire a lot about his blistering pace even at 31 years old. He can be easily slotted ad the right back because of this factor. Not many centre backs that have this pace. He can be an attacking option from the right, can deliver beautiful cross not to mention his ability to do well-timing tackles and blocks. And I admire his hair of course. Hahaha.
Before this, I like the way Andres Iniesta plays. He has great ability when it comes to dead ball, open plays for his team mates, be a playmaker , set pieces not to mention his slick passing. He just turn 23 years old this year and I know there is a lot to come from him. If you are playing Football Manager 2010, he can be classified as world class midfielder who can change a game in just a passing.
But, after that heart-breaking moment in last year semi final Champions League, my love for him has decreased. Haha. I know it sounds stupid, but that' the real. Haha. Still, my heart with Charles Puyol.
