These books remind me of a poem written by my father for me in conjunction with the world peace campaign. It was in 2003 and I participated in this Lagu Puisi competition.
The poem/song entitled Seroja; Sekuntum Bunga Sepi, depicted a girl whose family was killed in a war. And was unsure what else to do with life.
biarkan aku dipeluk sepi terapung aku di kolam yang sunyi mencari lagu damai di hati...
